Salesforce Integration

ClearStaq's native Salesforce integration is bidirectional: submit statements for analysis without leaving Salesforce, and push completed analyses back onto your Salesforce records. Your intake flow stays where your team already works.

What it does

  • Salesforce → ClearStaq: statements attached in your Salesforce flow are submitted for analysis automatically. Documents arriving this way carry a "Source: Salesforce" badge in ClearStaq.
  • ClearStaq → Salesforce: completed analyses (key metrics, fraud score, stacking data) are pushed back to the related Salesforce record — sync from ClearStaq to Salesforce is triggered manually with a button, sync from Salesforce to ClearStaq is automatic.

Setup

  1. Connect the app: Settings → Integrations → Connected Apps → Salesforce → Connect, and authorize via Salesforce OAuth.

  2. Install the ClearStaq Salesforce package in your org (your Salesforce admin will need an API key — generate one under Settings → Integrations → API Keys; keys are prefixed cg_live_… and can be revoked any time).

  3. Map your fields: choose which ClearStaq outputs land on which Salesforce fields on your Opportunity/Account objects.

  4. Test with one statement: attach a statement in Salesforce, confirm it appears in ClearStaq with the Source: Salesforce badge, and check the analysis lands back on the record.

Monitoring

  • Documents submitted from Salesforce appear in the Documents list like any other upload, with full analysis tabs.
  • Failed submissions show as Failed status in the Documents list — the most common causes are non-statement attachments and password-protected PDFs being pushed from the CRM flow.
  • API activity from the Salesforce package is visible per key under API Keys (last-used timestamps).

Which Salesforce editions are supported? Any edition that supports installed packages and API access (Professional with API add-on, Enterprise, Unlimited).

Does each analyzed statement still cost a credit? Yes — same metering as every other intake method.

Can I restrict who on my team manages the integration? Yes — the Integrations permission is a per-member toggle under Settings → Team.

We're on HubSpot, not Salesforce. HubSpot is on the roadmap (visible as Coming Soon under Integrations). Meanwhile, the API and Zapier cover custom CRM flows today.
